The game has been delayed in Japan due to recent events, and also in New Zealand due to the earthquake there a few weeks ago. It’s quite possible the European release will be affected too despite no natural disasters happening here.

I hope it’s not but I can understand why. Releasing a game set in an earthquake ravaged city could be seen as quite distasteful.

You know what, I actually think this delay is going to do Sony more harm then good. Either way the media is going to be all over this game when it finally releases and the longer Sony leave it the more ammo it gives these people to create wack ass stories stating that the game is ‘based on the recent events in Japan’.

We all know that’s bullshit coz obviously we know how long the game has been in the making. These journalists don’t care though. They will put Sony in a very bad light.

At least if they stuck to the release day they could have donated like 10% of the profits to Japan.

Like I said, either way Sony is going to catch a lot of heat.

Well I read in the media that sony is donating equipment (like radios) and money to the japanese relief efforts already so I dont think there will be any backlash.

Well we haven’t had any word from Evolution about it so I think it’s just a Sony thing.
I phoned round a few places today and no where seemed to have it, infact those places didn’t even have a clue what I was talking about lol. I thought I could Strike It Lucky because Sony did say a lot of stock had already shipped to retail but will be stopping any others, so I was hoping some stores would not have realised about the delay, but no such luck.

I read online that someone walked into a tesco in the UK and bought it. They even posted pics of it lol

Tesco is where I went today and they didn’t have it, they could have been sold out, but I went in twice, first on my way to Uni and they had none an then on my way back. There are hundreds of tesco stores in the UK so chances are some people got it.

Thanks for posting the new UK release date Brook. Can’t wait, hope they don’t change it again. I’m going to get my pre-order down today from the same place I got MvC3 so hopefully I will get it early again because they will have it in stock already.

The track looks damn good. There’s a tornado and just all of the effects with shit blowing everywhere. The track layout looks great. Lots of jumps and different routes. The first video I saw where it looks like it can compete with pacific rift and maybe surpass it
