The first Dead Space review has made its way online and, no surprise to us, it got a pretty damn good review.
CVG spotted the first game review over at Xbox World 360 magazine who gave it a 91% and went as far as to say that Resident Evil developer Capcom should take note of Dead Space, “because EA can teach them a thing or three about survival horror.” Ouch. The review goes on to gush about the game’s film-worthy script, intense horror themes and describes it as “Rapture in space: every bit as disturbing, just as meticulously designed and easily as believable.” We think it’s safe to say that if more reviews mirror these kinds of impressions, then Dead Space delivered as promised. Our excitement level rises …
So if this is true, then I’m pissed off. I went to rent a game because BioShock isn’t what I thought it would be and this game wasn’t available for either PS3 or Xbox 360.
I do not want Trophies, Money or not even a title saying I am number "1". You can have your cheap trophies, paper titles, and dingy headbands. I don’t recommend anyone watch that trailer, it contains spoilers.
So far from what I’ve played of the game, there’s a few things I can say, one; THIS GAME WILL SCARE THE SHIT OUT OF YOU, two; the graphics are absolutely gorgeous to say the least, THE SOUNDS ARE PERFECT, the story is so brilliant, you will feel so alone, there is no time so far in the game that I’ve felt safe at all, my heart was pounding and I just tried to keep moving and running, THIS IS TRULY ONE OF THE GREATEST HORROR GAMES EVER.
It’s most definately a must own, not just for any horror-action fan, but for anyone who owns the necessary console to play it, BUY IT.

The trailer really doesn’t do the game justice.
The graphics look amazing on my HD tv (only a 32 inch but still, HD).
If you don’t have an HD you won’t be submerged into the game quite as well.
Once I’m done with the game gonna check out the DVD which is the prequel to the game

This game is so dope…I didn’t really dive into it at first cus I had other games to play (and because this game is the scariest shit I’ve ever played or watched, I didn’t feel like pissing my pants)…but I’ve been going at it all night (for like 5 hours now, still playing) and this shit is amazing. I’ll review it when I finish it.
I really want this game. It’s about time another great scary game was released.

the game is awesome, but imo not worth buying cause theres not much to do after you beat it, but other than that game is very addictive and good
IMO, I really want to beat it just to play it again.
Because after beating it you have the ability to play through again using your same character (with all upgrades and armor, items, etc). And you unlock the Insane mode after you beat it once.
