I couldn’t resist any longer and played through “The Signal” this morning.
Loved it. Can’t wait for the new episode.
Gonna try and run through the whole game on Nightmare because i want those additional manuscript pages that can only be found in that mode.

Really you loved it? It was good but wasn’t great. The levels were all recycled with little new locations. The battle at the end was cool way better than the one in the actual game.

Story wise. Yeah it was awesome but gameplay wise it was all the exact areas pretty much. Wished it was new areas. I guessing can’t complain about a free DLC.

Started playing through this again. Recording the full playthrough. Episode One is uploading to youtube as we speak.

Damn, this game is just fantastic. I might catch heat from Brook but I don’t give a shit, love this game more than the Dead Space series. Still not finished the 2nd one, but i’m halfway through, but I just enjoy Alan Wake more.

For a game that isn’t even natively 720p it looks freaking gorgeous. The lighting is fantastic, story is so well written. It’s Psychological and gets into your head and I love things like that, You don’t get that from the Dead Space or Resident Evil series. Project Zero (Fatal Frame) is more Psychological too and that was shit in your pants scary.

lol graphics were cool to me not great but I think the monotony of the areas was a turn off. Other than that it was fun I guess it just seemed repetitive because of the never ending woods. :lol:
