Just beat it I have to say play it on Hard since it I really had no trouble will the game.
Disappointed with ending gameplay a bit. Cut scene ending was great and has me wanting for more DLC and a part 2.

The other day I beat the new DLC for Alan Wake.
It was pretty much exactly everything the same as in the original game. You pretty much go through the exact same places like to it in the game. expect that sometime the world shifts. So you end up in a entire different spot than where you really should have. Something cool they added was there would be a words randomly placed throughout the game for example “Tools” and if you would shine a light on it you would receive stuff like batteries, ammo guns ect. Another words included possessed, enemy, flare, boom and fireworks for example. The last two are great for killing groups of enemies. There is a boss battle at the end and its pretty messed up. But it is definitely better than the one from the ending of the game. I really enjoyed this one especially the video on Allan on the TV. That really made the DLC creepy.

For the collectors there are alarm clocks to be found and cardboard stands of other authors

Its sad the game didnt sell enough for more DLC hopefully a sequel will be worked on.
