loved ufc 136, what a shocker from joe lauzon, textbook rear naked choke… great battle between phan and garcia… was so impressed with chael sonnen, no signs of ring rust, and he is slowly becoming my favourite fighter… aldo/florian was the worst fight of the main card, have yet to be really impressed by aldo…edgar/maynard 3 was always going to deliver, great fight, the difference this time was maynard didn’t hurt edgar enough in the first, and this time edgar recovered even moreso and turned it up on maynard, great knockout for frankie.
would love to see sonnen/silva 2.

Anderson Silva is the most incredible fighter i have ever seen in my life

that silva performance was as good as his forrest griffin fight, he LITERALLY stood there with his hands down and his face leaning out there, moved his head like something from the matrix when okami went to throw, and countered (with his hands by his waste remember) with a right that floored okami several times.
i was left thinking okami doesn’t even deserve to be in the same ring as this man, incredible.
great win for rua, thats how the first fight should have went, great win for big nog too, i was disappointed for ross pearson however.

The Social Network – loved it, really loved it. jesse eisenberg is fantastic in it, so is andrew garfield actually. tackles issues of social behaviour very intelligently, puts forth the idea that somebody so unsocial towards others could create the biggest online social experience the internet has ever seen. great writing, loved most of the dialogue.
Cemetery Junction – was quite good, i’m a big gervais/merchant fan. they’re better at sitcoms, but in terms of a film debut (i think) it was pretty good.
The Weather Man – apart from Matchstick Men, this is the best acting i have seen from Nicholas Cage. though not much of a storyline, and towards the end it did feel like it was dragging on a tad, but definately an interesting watch. some good comedy moments too.
How To Lose Friends And Alienate People – predictable, but not too bad. some funny bits, some trying to be funny bits as well though. i’m a simon pegg fan though.

yeah exactly, that bit in Up In The Air, where he gives a seminar about a rucksack and what u have inside it made me want to pack a bag and get the hell out! and not to mention that silver plated travel card he gets is sexy!
i think if i remember correctly it doesn’t show one person smoking in Thank You For Smoking, a nice little touch.
watched lately –
Grown Ups – lame, very lame, it’s not funny, it tried very hard to be, but it isn’t, the only reason i kept it on is because salma hayek is hawt!!!
Taken – Ex-Spy guys daughter gets kidnapped, he goes to france and kills…erm everybody…and does or doesn’t rescue her in time, i won’t spoil it. it was entertaining for a man to watch (which is why i watched it lol)
Funny People – good. it’s a comedy but does actually raise a serious issue that most comics will relate to. i enjoyed it, probably one of the best films i’ve seen adam sandler in as i’m not a massive adam sandler fan.
Date Night – lame. steve carrell is getting unfunnier by the movie, this sucked, wasn’t funny, stupid story.
Mr Woodcock – lame. predictable as hell! avoid! not even any cheap laughs, unfunny! didn’t laugh once.
Cyrus – L A M E. not funny, worst film i’ve seen jonah hill in, short, hardly a story, predictable. think i laughed once, maybe.
Up In The Air – highly recommend, best acting i’ve seen from george clooney. good story, smart dialogue and some good performances all round.
Thank You For Smoking – highly recommend. Aaron Eckhart is amazing in this film, he makes the film what it is, i laughed alot. the dialogue is very very good, smart and whitty. defo check this out.
ufc live on versus was on last night, i watched all of the prelims on facebook, some good stuff actually.
chris lytle retired with a great submission win over dan hardy, he was getting the better of him standing up, and dan hardy panicked and went for a takedown, which against chris lytle is stupid cos he has a great ground game, within 10 seconds of the takedown, lytle had a deep guillotine and hardy tapped.
thats 4 straight losses for hardy, but lorenzo fertitta said he isn’t going to cut him cos he loves guys that WAR. we’ll see what happens.
much respect for chris lytle, was hardly ever non-entertaining and he did to hardy in 15 mins what GSP couldn’t do in 25, impressive
completed red dead redemption for the second time. been playing some rock band. fifa 11 is a year round game so i always play that on and off. might go back to some other games i never had the chance to complete, like fallout new vegas and assassin’s creed 2.

soulja boi and yung berg on the same album would be dope as hell, nah scratch that, erm i would love to see somebody do an album with lauryn hill. possibly john legend, i think that would be amazing.
