Marvel vs Capcom 3 looks much better in person than it does in the screenshots Capcom released a few weeks ago. It plays like Tatsunoko vs Capcom and looks as if it has a watercolor filter on the character models. You can choose a squad of three characters and there are fighting systems to choose from for each character just like in Marvel vs Capcom 2. The game is fun and over the top for sure.
The developers have put in tons of nice touches to show that they are famailiar with both the Capcom and Marvel franchises. For example Deadpool has a shoryuken move and tons of funny quips during the game. At one point he says “you pressed the wrong button.”
Above is the line to compete in Capcoms tournament. A pretty long line.
There were only a few characters available but already its apparent that Marvel vs Capcom 3 is in good hands and will not disappoint. Stay tuned for some HD gameplay videos that I recorded that will be posted here.
