Even his last studio album ‘Invincible’ was incredible but was also severely underrated. His record sales are going to jump through the roof yet again, and i hope people finally pick that album up. It’s just a shame they didn’t bother when he was alive.

I dont know man MJ has not been that hot since the 80’s. That was his peak. Jackson 5 Michael rules and off the wall, thriller mike is the shit. Everything else was not as good. But he was great over all I guess musically. The new shit was definately sub par compared to the old stuff. Lets not even get into touching lil boys.

Lets not even get into touching lil boys.Cosign even though he had some joints on his later albums that were dope it just doesn’t compare to all the stuff he dropped during the Jackson 5/Jacksons era the Off The Wall Thriller era.
People think he fell off once the Quincy Jones/Michael Jackson partnership was finished but that seriously is not the case.
Since then, he made 3 major studio albums, Dangerous, HIStory and Invincible (not counting Blood on the Dance Floor because that was a remix album) and each one were classics in my opinion.First look at Dangerous and the hits he had off just that one album.

So that was by no means a flop.HIStory was a double album, the first disc being a greatest hits collection of sorts and the second being all new material. This was supported by a huge promotional campaign, i’m sure we can all remember that iconic 30ft statue.

Lastly there is Invincible, and i’ve said it before on this site and i will say it again, that album is HUGELY underrated.
You Rock My World was seen as a return to the glory days of MJ and the rest of the album didn’t dissappoint. What pisses me off so much is that people assume it’s a crap album just because it didn’t sell as much as his other albums. I saw on the news before someone saying that it sold about 10 Million world wide, and well lets face it, how many artists today can move them sort of numbers. The album is a classic and suppose that now he has gone more people will go back and listen to that album for what it is, just great music, without thinking about all the controversy.In think it’s a shame that only now after he has passed people are more willing to concentrate on the music and not the controversy. Lets face it, if things had stayed focused on the music then maybe he would still be with us.

Sorry scat.. lol Your waay off homie. The sales from the Thriller album alone is more than all those weaker albums combined. Not only that but the music is not as good and yeah I know thats subjective but its still the consensus among music writers and critics and me lol
Maybe its because your younger and you grew up when the later albums were out but as someone who lived through the release of ALL MJ solo albums I can tell you that the newer albums you love so much (LOL) are not as good overall. Matter of fact Thriller had more hits on that one album than any of those other ones did and still holds that record to this day as most hit songs at #1 off the same album.
And by the way Scream is a horrible song… and Black & white … srsly? Those are like his worst.
