Just got my tournament edition stick, talk about night and day. Going from the tekken stick to that is crazy. My question is this. Other than aesthetics, does changin the buttons for the stick help at all.

well seimitsu buttons are stiffer… the Madcatz TE stick comes with Sanwa parts which are pretty much the most prevalent in Japanese arcades. Sanwa is good because it doesnt take much effort to activate the buttons. Seimitsu takes a lil more because its stiffer. Seimitsu joysticks are also a bit stiffer but also have a smaller “throw”..meaning there is a bit less space between the stick and the switches you hit when you move the joystick in a direction. Some people like it and some not as much. *shrugs* I used to like Seimitsu more but nowadays I am tending to play more on the sanwas because it feels more responsive and I like the loose feel especially for backdashing and cancelling focus attacks. It seems quicker.

You also cannot forget that Seimitsu buttons have a spring like feeling when you push on them. I rather go Baseball bat instead of lollipop anyday. Brook, what up with that White Baseball bat stick? Are you trying to sell it?

talon thats my wii stick now. I dont use it that much but i guess ill keep it for the random wii game or tatsunoko lol. Yo illmatic I have a few bat tops laying around I dont use. I have black, white, blue and red I think. When you order bat tops you need to get the adapter as well so that it will fir the JLF. Send me a pm with your address and ill send you one for free with the adapter. I have a few just sitting in a box anyway. just got my blank case made of mdf about to order my buttons and joy stick. can anyone put out a list of everything that i need so dont get started and miss a crucial piece and have to wait for shipping. im making a ps3 exclusive stick it does not have to be wireless.

Well hmm. Honestly consider that by the time you buy all the required parts and learn how to do it you may just be better off buying a PS3 SE stick.

You will also need a common ground board from a xbox 360 controller.

By the time your done you will ahve spent about the same money as a PS3 fight stick. You may be able to find one on sale. I bought one on sale from wallmart for like $15 last fall.

The clear color Semsitu sucks. They go out in a month. I want to know if the Sanwa will last forever!!!!!!!

I have clear seimitsus and none have gone out on me. But from what I hear you are right they say sanwas last longer so maybe I just dont play enough. :lol:

I just been feeling lately that seimitsu’s are too “stiff” (pause) so im going back to sanwa. I think im going for the ones on the top graphic.
