One of the biggest true surprises of the E3 2009 for me was stumbling upon the playable Wipeout HD expansion in the Sony Playstation Network show floor area. I truly stopped dead in my tracks when I saw it. I spent quite a bit of time with it and was fortunate enough to get a walk through of the new content from the game’s Director Tony Buckley.

I played Batman Arkham Asylum at least once per day over the three days the show floor was open at E3. I gave the game multiple tries because I really wanted the game to resonate with me. I’ll cut to the chase on this one. TMNT Smash Up is a multiplayer game that will be coming to the Wii and was one of the biggest disappointments of the show. E3 Best of The Swag Award: Tatsunoko vs Capcom Shirts
So of all the free stuff we received at E3 I must say that these limited edition Tatsunoko vs Capcom shirts were the best. Those Left 4 Dead posters are a close second though. PSP Go Fondled: E3 Hands-On Impressions
So the leak was pretty much almost dead on. The PSP Go was announced and then shown at E3. Luckily it was also on display in the Sony area at E3 and I was able to hi-jack play with it for a while. So Nintendo didn’t listen to us and didn’t announce the Pokemon MMO which I think would have been a MEGATON home run. They did announce a new side scrolling Super Mario Bros. game similar to their Nintendo DS offering from a couple years back. I was able spent some time with the game.
