The Lost Chapter

The Lost Chapter is 5 verses. You cannot use items either so that adds to the difficulty. To unlock it, you must clear every alfheim in the game. There are guides for this so check the FAQs on that respective page, also take note that the first two verses of this mode are on normal, the third is on hard, and the fourth and fifth are on Climax. Much luck on this as well!

When a new character is unlocked, you must start a New Game to use the character. After selecting New Game, the game will ask you which character you want to play. Make sure save your game to a different save slot to retain your completion status with Bayonetta.

CHARACTER: Jeanne
– Obtain a Platinum or Pure Platinum result on every Chapter in Normal difficulty. Note: it *must* be Normal difficulty – any difficulty level higher or lower won’t count.

– Alternatively, purchase for 1,000,000* Halos in Chapter 2: Vigrid, City of Deja Vu, after Verse 3 – Stand by the telephone that is on the other end of the plaza from the other telephones, and enter the following button combination: Up, Up, Up, Up, Down, Down, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Circle (PS3) or B (XBOX360).

* There’s a tricky way to do this for free. Save your game to a save slot prior to entering Chapter 2. Proceed to the telephone and use it to unlock the character, spending your 1,000,000 Halos. Now, reload your save. Your 1,000,000 Halos are back, and Jeanne is still unlocked.

CHARACTER: Zero
