This thread is for information on how to build a custom arcade stick. I will update it as I work on and finish up some custom stick projects I am working on. Im currently working on 2 wireless ones for the xbox 360.
Heres one I did. Its a custom wireless stick for ps2 that also works on a pc. The stick and buttons are Sanwa (japanese imports) and the pcb is from a logitech wireless ps2 controller that I took apart and wired to the stick and buttons.
I will post pics on how the inside looks and more details on how to make one. Basically I made the case and took this apart:
Then wired the board in it to the arcade buttons and joystick. Post your questions etc if you have any. Also post your own customs if you have any.
its not too hard to do. there are also people who sell the premade cases and all you gotta do is order the buttons and stick and wire it up. Heres a link to a good place I order from.
You gotta get the sanwa or semisu buttons and stick.
Or you can go american and get HAPP parts . I personally like the japanese parts better.

uhhh yeah these arcade sticks are mostly for street fighter and sometimes marvel vs capcom. LMAO
Aiight im back… this is has been kind of a part time evry now and then hobby for me and I created 2 more arcade sticks but this time for the xbox 360 and also wireless. I did not create the case itself this time. I actually paid someone in Toronto who is like one of the best arcade stick builders in the world. But I did wire the internals all myself. So if im playing you your getting beat on one of these..lol I KIDD I KIDD.
All sanwa buttons and sanwa stick including sanwa SDM-18 Test/Service Switch for sync button and a usb port connected to play and charge kit for quick charging. (and no lag is not an issue… I tested… lol)

Those arcade sticks are fucking sick man I need one of those joints for Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix when that shit drops in 2020:D and Street Fighter IV.
