Nintendo has just officially confirmed that they will be releasing their next console in 2012. This successor to the Wii is said to be currently codenamed “Project Cafe.” There are rumors that it will be more powerful than the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and also that it will feature a rather large controller that has a 6″ screen and dual analog sticks. Nintendo’s earnings were down 40-50% last year so its no surprise that they will be introducing new products soon.
This document found on the Nintendo servers confirms the existence of the new console.
