This Killzone 3 developer video goes into the control changes and additions implemented in Killzone 3. They mention fine tuning the deadzone and weight of the movement and weapons in addition to other tweaks. In Killzone 3 you can hold a pistol along with two additional weapons. One more than was allowed in the previous title. They show off some of the new heavy weapons as well.
Also mentioned is the inclusion of a slide to cover and tactical slide that can be used to slide under gunfire for a surprise melee or other attack. They also go into the new brutal melee system in Killzone 3.
