Im thinking of getting this game. I downloaded the demo and it was eh, but im still thinking about picking it up. Your thoughts of the game will be much appreciated.

it looks tight, i didnt get around to the demo but the gameplay looks good. personally i wouldnt buy it, to me it doesnt seem worth $60. it could be a great game but i wouldnt take a chance if your leavin it this up in the air.

The 1st and 3rd are the best.

I dont think this franchise has evolved since the 1st game to be honest. I actually think the action and story is worse. I mean even the graphics were a joke, the game didnt even look that much better than the ps2 games. I mean it looked better, but not that much better. I could understand if this game launched with the consoles, but man its far enough into the systems life cycle to look better than it does. And i thought the back trackin sucked, and playing as daunte sucked compared to nero. I still beat the game, but it wasnt anything special in my book. :v:

shit is weak dun, i downloaded the demo and I wasnt thrilled about it. like titan said the first joint was beast but the 4th addition to the serious is kinda wacksauce. Its your avg. hack and slash game, and the gfx are mediocre as well

Thats what got boring, all i felt i was doing was walkin around shootin a few things and cuttin some things…..i think the whole red things going over doors when you’re about to fight is gettin old now. If you liked other devil may cry games you will probably like this one some what, i just felt it wasnt anything diffrent and didnt add nothing new to the series. I just felt the story nor the gameplay wasnt very deep. And playing as daunte just feolt aquerd because the enemies that worked for nero felt kinda outta place when you played as daunte. To much back tracking and fighting the same bosses.

You fight some bosses as nero…….a horse on fire, the evil scientist dude as an angel, and snake woman,a huge frog…and some others

then later in the game when you go back to playing as nero when you get to the last level, you have to hit a dice and move this statue of your character around a board to move on……………and when you go through doors guess what bosses you have to fight all over again????

Black you will probably like it somewhat…..im sayin just dont expect nothing new or better in this one than you did in the other. The gameplay is the same as the first one and the story is just weak, im not even sure if it went with the story of the whole franchise lol.
