My first xbox broke soon after getting it almost a year ago for christmas. There was no real issue, Due to the fact it was still so new I just took it back to Best Buy and they took it on return. I simply got a new one no issue. I was in school/working so din’t get to play it much untill this summer when in September it broke again. It was still under warranty from xbox so began my first encounter. They have to sent you a box and you’ve gotta package it your self and sent it back. well it took them almost 2 weeks to get the box to me and I Sent it off. I called in a week, they still had not got it. It took them 3 weeks to “repair” my box and another week and a half to get it after that. That brings us 2 about 2 weeks ago when I just started to get back into playing it and the three lights happened again today and I’m looking at another month plus with out my xbox360.

I heard so many horror stories about the red ring of death.. I was at my friends for the Mayweather fight & I was packing up my 360.. I was disconnecting all the shit & forgot to take the game out.. I plugged it back in & had the red ring.. My heart sank.. I quickly took out the game & packed it away..

When I got home (& after a good sleep!!) I plugged it all in & (thank god!!) it worked..

Regarding Xbox services, I heard good & bad reports.. I just pray I never need to use them..

My experiences with them have been good so far the two times I’ve dealt with them.

Man I got my shit with in less then 2 weeks. Just suck it up and get a PS3 man if you want it

Thats because you just plugged in the power and NOT the audio/video cables… i did that to and it gave the red lights and i almost cried… lol

Though this does not sound good as a feeling who has had to undergo this trauma but in a way I am relieved as all the while I was thinking it was me who has suffered from the hands of these Xbox repairing crap. Yeah my story is somewhat same and I changed to PS3 big time. Having flawless gaming experience since, just hope the xbox does not hover anywhere near me in future.
