Before Peter Molyneux and Co. captured our GOTY hearts with Fable II, Lionhead introduced the world to Albion in Fable — on the original Xbox. Next week — billed as the figurative pot of gold for St. Paddy’s Day — the Xbox Originals release of Fable will be discounted to 800 ($10) on March 16, down one third the standard (Read: Overpriced) tag of 1200.
March 23’s Deal of the Week isn’t nearly exciting, discounting the Iowa Mission Pack for Battlestations Midway by 20%. Finally, to put an Irish kiss on the end of the month, the Deal of the Week beginning March 30 will be the XBLA title Alien Hominid HD, discounted by 50% to 400 ($5). Those are some quality price drops… Irish I had some more MS Points.

Might pick up Alien Hominid…but that shit is hard as fuck, cant get no where on the demo, but its still fun.
As for Fable, I can pick that up at BlockBusterVideo for 5 bucks with a disc and case (so it doesnt take up room on my harddrive)…but I think ill pass.
I was thinking about picking up Alien Hominid also I have a bunch MS points ready for the Fallout DLCs

This weeks Deal of the Week is now available. The Iowa Mission Pack for Battlestations Midway, normally priced at 400 points, is now available for Xbox LIVE Gold Members for 320 points, a savings of 20%.

Major Nelson reminds us that Alien Hominid HD is only 400 ($5) this week for Xbox Live gold members. Team Behemoth’s first XBLA title is normally priced 800 ($10). If this is somehow your first time ever hearing about Alien Hominid, the title received generally favorable reviews

I decided to get it, 5 bucks is a good deal for any game, especially this one.
But yeah, it’s extremely difficult, I just beat the first level, but with using all but one continue, so shortly into the second level I got a gameover. And that’s with it on Easy difficulty, I’m sure once you get into a groove though and become more used to the controls and get used to the bosses it’s more playable. It’s good fun for five bucks atleast, that’s my early response.
Man I wish I had the points for Braid when it was on sale…The trial alone for that game is so awesome, I want it bad now, but wanna wait for a price drop or something

how so? the graphics/animations are gorgeous, the music/score is brilliant, the gameplay is extremely creative and unlike anything i’ve ever seen before, the story to it is unique and actually holds my attention.
to me it seems like a really original game and not sure how you could just say its meh?

Trust its meh…I hope you like repetition because that game is like listening to a scratched record.
