US federal ICE agents raided more than 30 businesses and homes on Wednesday in 16 states, looking for devices that let pirated video games play on Sony’s PlayStation 2, Microsoft’s Xbox and Xbox 360, and Nintendo’s Wii.

ICE, or Immigration and Customs Enforcement, is the largest investigative arm of US Department of Homeland Security. ICE is with charged with the mission of “Protecting National Security and Upholding Public Safety.”
