The Sly Collection didn’t break the top 40 on the UK charts this week despite the positive reviews.
It’s a shame really because if Sony feel like the consumer interest isn’t there then it’s possible that chances of us getting more HD ports of PS2 games are slim.
I’ve read people bitching about wanting Sony to reintroduce backwards compatibility for old games, but I would much rather see HD versions with Trophy support.

Prince of Persia was more of a rush job. I think it was only announced a couple of months before it’s release whereas the GOW collection seemed to have had a bigger window considering Sony sent out a survey about a year before the release of GOW 3 asking gamers if they would like to see a HD collection.

They are making it an actual reboot for the series, showing a younger Lara on her very first adventure, so pretty much an origins story. It wouldn’t be the first time the game has gone back to those early days though as I remember in Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation on PS1 you got to play as Lara as a 16 year old when she witnessed the demise of her mentor VonCroy, that section of the game was used as a tutorial.
However, with this being a reboot I’m looking forward to seeing what they do with the story and the gameplay.

kicked up a new lovefilm account (rent games n shit) got the 90 day free trial, first 3 to arrive are kane and lynch 2, red dead, and cod mw2 (never finished it)
on a sidenote, yesterday like a div, i watched paranormal activity in the dark alone at like 3 am… i couldn’t sleep

Vert very disappointed with Sackboys Prehistoric Moves. They have made it a strictly offline multiplayer game WTF!!!
Okay, so here’s the thing. It’s set up as one person controls sackboy with the Dualshock, and another player uses the Move controller to manipulate objects in the world.
So I bet you’re saying just hold a controller in each hand.
I tried, it doesn’t work. You see the person using the dualshock also has to use the face buttons to jump and grab things. Requiring 2 hands. The Move controller has to be used at the same time to get to different areas and continue through the levels.It is soooooo annoying because the Move controls are fun and multiplayer would be great if they included online co-op but they don’t.
You might be saying, well it’s only a demo to show off how the Move controls have been implemented. Well the game has a trophy set and will cost actual money next week when it’s released for everyone next week on the Playstation store.
So Szuter you definately won’t be able to play until you buy the Move. It can’t be played without it.
