And go buy Limbo and Castlevania Harmony of Despairs. Both are great games. Limbo is the Downloadable game of the year so far, but Scott Pilgram might have to put an end to that.

I enjoyed the Mafia II demo, it was literally a “demo” so it was very short but it’s made me want to play more which is a good thing.

Controls didn’t feel any worse than what was in both Godfather games, same goes for the driving mechanics so that won’t put me off.

So ye, still gonna be a day one purchase for me.

Damn, Scott you bitch about everything. You do not need online mode to have a good game. You are skipping over a lot of good games because of the following: No Online Mode, Trophies/Achievements, or HD graphics. Just play the damn game and be a part of greatness.

Hahahaha dude it’s not about bitching, it’s about being a student and not being able to afford games that are not true value. That’s why i read so many damn reviews because I wanna know if these games are worth the money I’m putting down for them.

I’m reading that the game is obviously meant to be played with friends and without the online co-op it can be seriously frustrating playing solo.
Well none of my friends are “gamers” so I wouldn’t use the local co-op option which is why I would need an online mode.

Why would I drop money on something where I’m only getting half an experience, and not the good half at that.

Well obviously you look for the bad things, because it’s the bad things that can be deal breakers or not. Example, you were wondering why i didn’t buy Limbo, even though it got all these great reviews, but the bad thing is, it is way to short, only a few hours of gameplay. Now, that game would cost me the best part of £15, so instead i went and bought Far Cry 2 which i got for £11, a fun game, with alot more value for money.

I bought Just Cause 2, that cost me £22, £7 more than Limbo would cost and i’m having a hell out of alot of fun with it, i got 8 hours gameplay time out of it already and i’m only at 8% completion.

The reviews for Scott Pilgrim have all been positive which makes me want to pick it up but the lack of an online has been a deal breaker for me, maybe i’ll pick it up when it goes on sale.

Arcade sitck is the ONLY way to really play Scott Pilgrim. With a stick it controls arcade perfect.

I never look for anything negative. I always look for the best of anything. Besides, why would you look for the bad things? That will cause you to never look at anything positive. When I’m looking for a game, I try to stay away from reviews. I buy games that appeal to me, no matter what the price of the game.

Let’s compare this to taking a date to a restaurant. You heard that restaurant A was served the best steaks in town, but their portions are small to restaurant B and a little steep. Restaurant B serve medicre steaks, but they are twice the size of restaurant A and are easier on your pocket. So what restaurant are you taking that date? I’m going to whatever restuarant that have the best appealing signs. If the place look cleans I’m going there. F’ a review. That is causing you to not think for yourself.

Everybody should know that I love buying games. Sometimes I playing new games before they drop, but that is rarely. Scatigno, how can you go and spend 40 pounds on two games instead of renting them both for roughly 20 pounds? You could of rented Just Cause 2 and Fry Cry 2 and save yourself 40 pounds. That 40 pounds, that you spent on Just Cause 2 and Fry Cry 2, could of went to buying two of the following games: Scott Pilgram vs the World, Limbo, Castlevania HD and Monday Night Combat or something else. With that money saved you could of bought any of the two and rented both of those games thru the post for the same price.
