So it’s just been announced that Socom 4 has been delayed until 2011, apparently they want to work on additional features and make it the most immersive Socom game to date. Ye, it’s got nothing to do with the fact it would have to compete with the new Call of Duty game over the Christmas period. For fuck sake, I was looking forward to trying out the Playstation Move with this game. I wish people would stop being so shit scared of Call of Duty, if your game is worth picking up then people will cop it whether COD is out or not. Looks like we will have a repeat of last year with most of the major releases being pushed back. Cunts!

I might check out the fan expo in Toronto in August for the Gaming Expo. The thing I wanna know is what they will show. Cause a lot of the thing part of the Gaming Expo holds no interested to me. But if the have even stuff like Kinect, PlayStation Move I would consider going to check it out
Edit : I found this from last year FanExpo post on Playstation Blog

07/29/2010 at 11:34 am #46108I’m grabbing Star Craft 2.
I do not want Trophies, Money or not even a title saying I am number "1". You can have your cheap trophies, paper titles, and dingy headbands. I am a "STORY" to my peers, a "LEGEND" for your kids to hear, and a "FOLKLORE" to keep you from dieing with fear - Calvin D. Kates aka Chauncy "TRU" Talon.

Eurogamer have just shitted all over the XBLA Castlevania game. They gave it a 4/10Quote:I’d advise players to take advantage of multiplayer mode, since the game is practically insurmountable – or at least an excruciating waste of time – by yourself.Yet Harmony of Despair has no sympathy for failure. When a boss claims victory, you start from the very beginning of the stage, with nearly a half-hour wasted. That’s right: the first time you die, you have to make another run through the whole mansion. The second goddamn time you die, you have to make another goddamn run through the whole goddamn mansion. After the third time, you start using words that my editors won’t let me print.
Even that might be acceptable if the journey through each castle were more exciting. It’s a trudge, though.
my hero was in no hurry to get anywhere. I bent that analogue stick as far as I could, and yet the little sprite wouldn’t speed up. My high school running coach used to make us do a strength drill where we ran laps in six inches of water; that’s what it feels like to move around in this game.
You can adjust the camera view to three different levels of zoom as you play, taking advantage of the Xbox 360’s high-definition canvas so that you can see a huge swathe of the castle and, in theory, follow the exploits of your compatriots. The three available angles are: Impossible To See What’s Going On, Somewhat Less Impossible To See What’s Going On, and Actually Playable.
Harmony of Despair isn’t a failure of concept but a failure of ambition, one that leaves Koji Igarashi still waiting for his next great discovery.
