I do not want Trophies, Money or not even a title saying I am number "1". You can have your cheap trophies, paper titles, and dingy headbands. yo honestly this game aint a 9 out of 10 to me. Its an 8 out of 10 so far. Great story but uncharted 2 is WAAAAAAAAAAY more polished overall. The fist fight fake batman shit is so undone. Shit is not fun at all. Like wtf is this god of war lol
Seriously? I found the combat a definite improvement. For instance, the Market scene where you can grab an opponent, throw him up against one of the stalls, pick up a frozen fish and smash it over his head were great and funny moments. It felt a lot more fluid to me with the counter attack and things.
Technically the game is so much more polished. The way the fire burns up the Chateau, the way the water sloshes about from side to side in the pool on the boat, the way the sand in the desert moves and the footprints you leave, it was just beautiful to look at.
I read a patch was in the works about the somewhat off aiming controls though.I think the problem is Uncharted 2 was such a technical advancement not only in terms of graphics, but in gameplay over Drake’s Fortune and pretty much any other console game released at the time, and was an incredible game to boot, that the backlash was bound to happen for Uncharted 3. I mean how do you top it? From the reviews I have read it just seems like nitpicking to me. Think of the most dumbest shit you can, which you can probably overlook in the game anyway and deduct points because of it. I’ve even read people complaining that the story focuses a lot more on the relationship between Drake and Sully.
That was one of my favourite things!
I’m glad they explained how they came to meet, how Sully took Drake under his wing, to be a better crook yes, but he provided Drake with the father figure he was missing, the young Drake even says that he doubts his Parents would be worried about where he was during that first conversation they have. Drake really has to come to terms with the fact that no one is getting any younger and least of all Sully, and is it selfish of him to keep putting Sully in danger with these wild adventures. He has to look at himself in the mirror and the events near the end of the game really go to show how much Drake cares about Sully and how he literally would go to the ends of the earth for him.
It was just an amazing experience to me yet again and I loved every minute of it.

^ I totally disagree man. Fine the story is great but Im not watching a movie this is a GAME. The fighting shit is glorified quick time events and its not smooth at all. batmans combat flows this shit is just clunky. Even the shooting is worse than uncharted 2 in singleplayer. Thats a well known fact. I just think they added shit and didnt polish it. They added all these animations to drakes movements and its really just weird. He moves weird and it feels weird. ugh. Comapred to other games its still great but compared to the last game I think the “game” parts are a step back. Sometimes less is more.
Also… this fucking game has glitched on me like 5 times already. I fell through the whole stage at the chase scene on the rootops at the beginning. lol Shits crashed and locked up multiple times even during cutscenes. Then theres this where I got stuck in the damn whatever the hell it is and had to restart the checkpoint.

LOL. The only reason this shit is blurry is because drake was twitching like pookie from newjack.
