Tournament Mode Revealed

Capcom have announced that Super will be getting a tournament mode.

This will include Brackets for between 4 and 8 players.

It will be single elimination.

They said that Lag will be shifted to those spectating the fights so they may be a little behind the action in order for the 2 players to have the smoothest possible experience.

Capcom will offer up unique belts for tournament players, who participate in specific tournaments. These belts are not permanent and can be lost in subsequent tournaments.

It was also mentioned that Avatar outfits will be hitting the XBL Marketplace, and for those with Street Fighter IV saved data there will be a special graphical filter unlock that gives characters a more stylised look.

Please note, for those of you who have just jizzed in your pants at the thought of tournament mode. It will not be available on launch day. No, it will be released as FREE DLC on 15th June. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
