Man Ive already got it but I think there is some shit missing that I need to download coz eveytime I accept a challenge the shit just stays on a blank screen and the game doesn’t start.

lol @ trying to play ggpo without roms like wtf. put the ones you have in the roms folder. I dont know off the top of my head but Ill tell you later though when im home.

might be the wrong ones… it has to be the exact ones or it wont work and there are like 5 versions floating around… check their forums.
OK, checked their forums and watched some tutorial videos on youtube.
I have the correct roms and opened my ports but still can’t play the damn thing.
i get one of 2 messages. EitherConnecting To Server or
Retrieving Match InfoNothing happens after that. Just stays on that screen.

With less a than month until the release of ‘Super Street Fighter IV’, everyone must be anxiously itching for the game… Well, here it is! Gamerbase have teamed up with Capcom to bring you a SSFIV preview event 2 weeks before official release!
There will be 10+ casual setups throughout the day, and a fun light hearted NEW CHARACTERS ONLY tournament with a £1000 cash prize which will be split between the top 16 finishers!
We would prefer to think of this as an experiential tournament with a focus on fun rather than winning at all costs. Take time to play around and experiment with the new characters and enjoy the atmosphere with like minded players. To encourage this, we have distributed the prize pot between the top 16 players in the tournament – anyone could walk away with cash in their hands.
The top 4 will receive their individual pot of the prize fund of £300, £200, £120, £60 respective to their finishing spot. Everyone who was knocked out in the top 8 will receive £40 each whilst everyone knocked out in the top 16 will receive £20 each.
In addition to this, we will have lots of official capcom merchandise to give away!

How to Register
To register please login to your gamerbase.com account, or set up a new one by clicking here.
Once you have logged in please click the link below to continue to the tournament registration page. Here you will be able to sign up for the tournament by clicking ‘register’.
There is no cap for number of entrants, but should entrant numbers exceed a certain amount, a cap may have to be imposed.
Casuals and Tournament: All Day
There will be 10+ casual setups running throughout the day on 32” LCD TV’s with zero lag. The tournament stations will be on our superb 47” LCD TV’s backed up with a projector for spectating the later stages in the tournament. Casuals will be best of 3 and off UNLESS there is nobody waiting. If you get a 10 win streak, move onto another setup and give some one else a chance. Be courteous to others, we’re all in the same community.
Format: Xbox 360
Casuals and tournament will be solely on Xbox 360 consoles. Bring your own controller.
Tournament Rules
Single Elimination:
There will be a number of qualifying groups which lead into a single elimination bracket. Once the elimination brackets begin, it will become best of 3 games to advance. Every game will be best of 3 rounds and 99 seconds.
NEW characters only:
You can ONLY use NEW characters in the tournament. You are not restricted to one character. In the elimination rounds, the loser of the first match can change characters whilst the winner must stay the same. You can change after each match during the groups.
Xbox 360:
SSFIV will only be available to play on Xbox 360 on the day. You are required to bring your own controller / stick. Wireless controllers can NOT be used. Gamerbase only have a limited amount of Xbox 360 official controllers to lend out. It is your responsibility to provide a controller. Failing to do so when your match begins will result in a forfeit.
Time:
Casuals will be available from 9:00am and will finish at the end of the day at 6:30pm.
The tournament will begin at 12:30pm.
Everything must finish strictly at 6:45pm.
Miscellaneous: If you fail to show up to your match in adequate time, it is up to the admins’ discretion whether you forfeit that match or not.
Pausing and any interruption during a match in progress will deem a round forfeit unless the opponent says otherwise.
Admins will be strict with their decisions since we must ensure the tournament finishes with adequate time to present awards.
You should check your buttons first then go back to character select screen to begin the match. It is your responsibility to ensure your buttons are correct.
Oh shit i soooooooooooooooo want to take part. I’m at this HMV all the time and they have a really good gaming setup.
