It was bound to happen. Giving reviewers the PC version aka ‘The How It Should Be Played’ version was to help the review scores. Plus there is a day one patch for consoles that reviewers have been waiting for so they can give a proper opinion.
From what I have read though the campaign sucks ass, but it’s all about Multiplayer anyway, which I heard is excellent across all versions.

I know I wont be buying the console version. Ill get it from gamefly and pay the $10 for the online pass but fuck paying $60 for majorly gimped version. The PC version is one of the best looking games I have ever seen. If only I can get my skills back up.
I just got an e-mail saying my copy has been shipped. Fingers crossed I get it tomorrow.

I’ll check this game out at Brooks. I have no plans on buying it so far. It would really have to knock my socks off for me to consider getting this game in addition to MW3.
So it turns out that PS3 owners won’t get that free copy of Battlefield 1943 on the disc as was promised back at E3. Now EA have come up with some bullshit saying instead of the free game, PS3 owners get Battlefield 3 Expansion packs a week early.
Oh WOW EA!!! So instead of a free game I get to PAY for DLC a week before anyone else? WINNING!!!!

Not anymore. I had the copy I got off you, but since I changed to the Slim PS3 i have not been able to use it, because you said you didn’t know the password or some shit, so I can’t add the account back so I just deleted it from my hard drive.

So I dont think this is a COD killer.
Now dont get me wrong it is a great shooter but not a one COD fans would like.
The is more tactics needed in B3 more teamwork. You cant run this shit solo. Its much slower passed.
Since its a more of a urban setting the is much less destruction possible which is disappointing.
Had fun playing this but wasnt blown away like I would with the PC version.
It got much better once I unlocked the scope and starter getting more kills.
Leveling up takes forever only level 2 in COD I would of been probably 8 or higher with the time spend.
The maps are just okay for me. Nothing amazing but nothing terrible at the same time.
So far just been playing Deathmatch I was getting slaughtered in Conquest so I had to jump of it and get some upgrades.War.
War never changes.
COD will be the only COD killer in my opinnion. The only thing that will kill that game is when people who buy it finally wake up to realize its the same shit every time and that other shooters out there do many things better. :lol:
Ye the more I read up about this game the more I find it funny how all the time, effort and money they put into the hype machine, could have been used to make a better game lol. There is no denying the PC’s graphical prowess, but if you haven’t got the gameplay to match then what is the point?
I mean by all accounts the campaign sucks. They tried too hard to take things from Call of Duty, but didn’t make them any better. They even took the whole interrogation scenario from Black Ops, but ended up with a lifeless, slow paced, short 5 hour campaign that feels nothing like the multiplayer.
This is what I’ve just been reading, obviously I’ve not played it myself. I’m hoping the Multiplayer will be as fun as Bad Company 2, and either this or BC 2 will still remain my FPS of choice, but in terms of sales, and even of Metacritic scores which is what the company wanted, I think Modern Warfare will again be crowned King in that respect, but as Brook stated, COD will only remain on top until people realise they are playing the same shit year in year out.

but scat you havent played it yet so how do you know it sucks?Sucks compared to what? Honestly the parts of the campeign I have played so far are good not ZOMG but good. I think people are saying just because its not the next coming of jesus that the game SUCKS but its not the case. The shooting feels good and better than Bad company 2 and the maps are dope and also dope looking. Also the sound is PHENOMENAL. I dont have any specific major complaints about the game from my few hours with it other than I fucking suck at it.

lol Brook, do you not read posts thoroughly before you reply? I did say that this is what I have been reading, and NOT my thoughts because I have not yet played the game, but that I at least hope the Multiplayer is as fun as Bad Company 2.
