how much does ram cost and how much does it come with also u know how to install it or is it better to ask someone to do it i know dot know much about comps lol

ram usually runs in the ballpark from 40$ and up im not sure how much a 2 gig cost but you can get a 1 gig for 60$ easy. instalation is easy just remove the previous ram stick from your motherboard and replace it with the new one. although there is something to consider when purchasing new ram. you have to know which type your board uses(im not to wise to this part) but its something about ddr or something. in anycase ram sticks range in size from 512 to a gig to two gigs(im not sure if they go above the 2 gig, but im sure its possible to use two,two gig sticks on a motherboard if its powerful enough).oh and 1 gig is usually perfect for most computers, hope that helps:^:

yeah it does but i have no clue where the ram stick is in the comp….and i dont wanna lose the warrenty on my comp

well thats what your computer manual is for. and if you dont have that search the internet for it. and umm changing ram does not void warranty
