Brook can you delay that article for abit please? I’ve just made a video giving my impressions of the beta with the Move, it’s rendering out now and then I will upload it, so you can add that to your article if you want, unless you have made your own video?

DZ width: 0
DZ height: 30
Crosshair sensitivity: 70
Turn speed: 50A couple of suggestions to Move players:
Disable the lock assist. It only allows for the Camera lock, and while it may came in handy at times, the thing is a locked target moving away (like up a staircase) drags the camera with him, which is something you don’t want happening. Also, when Camera lock is on, aiming defaults to toggle unless there is a lockable enemy in view (in which case you have to hold down L2 to zoom in and lock).
If you lower the cursor sensitivity you might want to increase the turn speed as lowering the sensitivity means it takes more time to trigger camera rotation, so you want to compensate that by having the camera rotate faster.
Stay calm and cold blooded. Especially at higher cursor sensitivities. Melee works perfectly and it only needs a small forward thrust. Don’t let the panic overcome you.
Don’t bother with centering the target in the middle of the screen. Coming from a DS3, you feel like doing this a lot but you don’t really need it. If an enemy comes into view, just shoot him wherever he is on the screen!
Strafe. Don’t forget you’ve got a left stick there. Use it as you do with a DS3.

Quote:From a single-player point of view at least, Killzone 3 is the biggest disappointment of the year so far. What a dumb comment. There has been what, 2 big releases so far this year, and one of them, Mass Effect 2 was a port from a year old game. I’m sure the campaign in Killzone 3 will be alot better than what I played in LBP 2. Some critics are such assholes.

Killzone 2 is a bigger release I would think… though 3D in killzone 3 is aces and the move support is as well so…You know what, I totally forgot about Dead Space 2 when I posted that before lol. That is crazy coz i’m loving it and was only playing it last night. So in that case then maybe you are right but even so, it’s the first BIG first person shooter of the year, and how often do those kind of games have amazing single player campaign stories to go with them? Battlefield? Black Ops? Medal of Honor?
So really it’s not that surprising to hear people not liking the story that much. However it’s the Multiplayer that’s going to keep us coming back to it, and like I said previously, Ray Winstone voices one of the characters and you hear his voice in the Multiplayer beta too, so i’m looking forward to playing through it just for that reason.
02/04/2011 at 2:41 pm #48815yeah… it seems that half of the reviews going hard subtracting from the score because of the single player. Black ops had an entirely forgettable single player and Halo Reach had a really good one. I will replay the Reach story at some point. I have more thoughts I will expand on in my article though.
