Starting to become the movie industry. Look shitty remakes of games is getting annoying. I hate games that is redone. I want to cherish the game as I remembered. I don’t want no kid to be like I like the Golden Axe that just came out. When you pull out the Sega Genesis (Mega Drive to some of you guys) to show Golden Axe, they be like what the fuck is that. Shit remakes is getting annoying. I don’t want no old remakes. I want new concepts. Don’t flush a great game into the toilet.. Sure there is a couple of games I love to see get redone (i.e. where the fuck is my CHRONO TRIGGER at FUCK FACES), but beside that, make something worth the wild. Look at Turok, shit I hated the demo on PS3. I think they just ported it from the 360 but hell it looks shitty. I know I more into game play instead of graphics but damn, can you atleast stop using the same graphic engine from the nintendo 64 days (and if you don’t know what I’m talking about look at the “High” grass when you have to knife fuckers in the game, my point exactly). Sonic sucked when they brought him to next gen.

Well I see what your saying and also sometimes after buying a wack old school virtual console game I remember that sometimes I have a romantisized memory of how good some of the old school games were. Like there were alot of old games that were not all that great or were crap but we played them anyway because thats all we had to play back then. Yeah there were some gems but ALOT of the old games were complete shit and we remember them like they were the best shit ever.

But back to what your saying I think that theres just alot of shitty games coming out now cuz the industry is SO BIG (billions) and theres games coming out every week now so out of sheer probability most of them will be crap because good shit will always be the minority.

Some remakes are good. For example:

Resident Evil (Gamecube)
Tomb Raider Anniversary.

However i will always prefer the original, just for the sheer nostalgia alone.

i feel like these are the games that we grew up on and for the most part shouldnt be redone enough to say wtf is this. i feel like their just trying to make sales by bringing the games to live or psn or vc. also part of it i think was how simple the controller was compared to todays ps3 or 360 controller or even wii with the motion sensitive controller and also most games i like had 2d graphics so remastering them makes them bad just by looking at it.
