New details have emerged regarding the US release date for Capcom’s highly-anticipated Street Fighter IV. Game producer Yoshi Ono, in an interview with X-Play, explained that Capcom’s flagship fighter would be arriving this winter.
It is still thought that Capcom will be releasing both the console and PC versions of Street Fighter IV in 2009, and Ono has stated that he doesn’t want to start rumors that the game will be released this year, “but definitely this winter. At some point you’ll be sitting in you winter coat looking at snow out the window…and right then we’ll kind of heat you up a little with some hot street fighter action so look forward to that.”
The producer of the Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li movie claimed that both film and game releases would be contemporaneous. Right now, the film has a release date of 27 February 2009.

yeah by this winter they mean FEBRUARY 09. Which everyone pretty much knows already.
