Nah, the greatest thing that ever came out of American TV was The Sopranos, and the greatest TV comedy stuff was friends, in my opinion.
However i think our drama’s and comedies are just of a higher standard.
Obviously The Sopranos is the greatest thing i have ever watched, but other than that, theres not much else i would watch.

The financial budgets we have for our TV shows are obviously not as much as in the US where they can make every one hour episode look like a hollywood movie, but i still find our TV alot more gritty and interesting.

I’ve started watching a new comedy drama called Nurse Jackie.
I only got interested in it when i saw it in the TV Listings because it stars Edie Falco (Carmela Soprano) in the title role.
It’s actually quite hilarious.
It’s episode 4 tonight.
They are only half hour shows, and i recommend it.
Series 2 begins in the US and Canada in March i think.

i started watching OZ yesterday, and have gotten through the first series already, it was a good first series, but it was short, maybe too short no characters stood out as the best ones and none of the stories were that intreguing so i was a tad disappointed, but i’ve heard it only gets better, so i will keep watching it

Oz is okay. At times it gets a bit far fetched & by the last season you can tell it’s on its last legs. Saying that though, it’s still quite good.

The first season of Nurse Jackie finished a few weeks ago over here.
I got interested in it at first because it starred Edie Falco from The Sopranos (Carmela Soprano) in the title role, and i gotta say, it was hilarious. It is full of drama and comedy and i can’t wait for the 2nd season.
