MY ECW review for 7-1-08
ECW Champion Mark Henry was introduced. Tommy Dreamer challenge Mark Henry. Mark Henry accepted only if Colin Delahley wins the match with Mark Henry at the Main Event of the night.
6 man tag match. US Champion Matt Hardy with David Finley and Hornswaggle against the WWE Tag Team Champions Miz and Morrison with Chavo Guerrero with Bam Neeley in his corn. Pretty decent match in which I thought Bam was going to be the factor of the hell team winning. The ending show. Morrison getting hit with the Celtic Cross by Finley. A tap pole spash by Hornswaggle. Bam Neely is knocked off the apron from Finley for the save. Finley also get the pin, while Matt Hardy hit the Twist of Fate on Miz. Great Match. opening match 5 out of 9 stars
Atlas Ortiz is talking to Teddy Long. You know about that Legend. One of the best. The man behind The Undertaker (Mean Mark Calloway) Sid Viscous (him and Mean Mark was the original Sky Scarpers). The legendary tag team of DOOM (“The Natural Butch Reed and The All-American Ron Simmons). Was interrupted by Estarada about his contract. Teddy responded by sending in the FCW development wrestler (where is Afa Jr. looks exactly like him or TJ Wilson) against him. Sorry they not even in Florida they could of pull a home town wrester against him. It would of made the crowd a huge pop.
Atlas vs Armando which I think was boring. I’m very impressed with Armando Estrada body. Not trying to sound gay or anything but why didn’t he start wrestling when he came from OVW (Ohio Valley Wrestling). Atlas start the match off great. Do the basic moves that every wrestler is train to do. He open it up great seriously. Then Estrada hit him in the shoulder. Estrada does work magic on the mic and starting to show in the ring. He target the shoulder like a bull seeing red all day. It was also his downfall in which Atlas hit him up with the school boy (back roll up) for the win. Armando is impressing me each week. I got bored and drank 3 beers when this match was going on. Had to read the spoiler on how it ended 3 out of 9 stars.
The Main Event. Colin Delahley vs Mark Henry. Shit I’m be real. Horrible match. Colin did his best but it was the typical “David vs Golitah” match. Colin got the offensive in the second half but was finish when Mark hit him with the “World Strongest Slam”. Your typical sqush match. 3 out of 9
I think this was a horrible ECW. They could of done more for Mark Henry. He should of been put way more over. He the 1st Black World Champion (you guys know how I feel about calling the ECW WORLD TITLE A WORLD TITLE :mad:) since BOOKER T. I’m give that black man my full support. If you think the show was better than you tell me.
Which don’t make any sense to me that I average out a 3.67 for this show. They need the help they can get. Opening match was longer than all the matches combined. It should of been the main event sorry Mark Henry. You only got the title because of Michael P.S. Hayes is more of a “NIGGA” then you are, racist bastard. Where the fuck is Elijah Burke at? The true ECW champion?
I do not want Trophies, Money or not even a title saying I am number "1". You can have your cheap trophies, paper titles, and dingy headbands.
