It’s just called Mortal Kombat lol. It’s like a reimagining of the first 3 games I think they said it was. Game looks great though, I’m just praying they don’t mess it up when it actually comes to playing the thing.

My brother and I played MK more than we ever played Street Fighter years ago, so when I showed him this one and how they have gone back to the 2D fighting, he was like ‘Oh Shit! lol, so he’s looking forward to it too now.

i always preferred mortal kombat when i was younger, i think mainly due to that whole “finish him”. that was awesome doing fatalities. my chinese mate pulled off the one where u turn lui kang into a fucking dragon. though i never played fighting games that much, i suppose the one i most played was killer instinct.

So it was announced today that the demo is being released next week exclusively for Playstation Plus subscribers, with all other PS3 users gaining access to it a week later.
As of now it’s PS3 exclusive.

Can’t wait to play it. Hope it lives up to my expectations.

Loving this game. Very impressed with the demo.
Looks great, fun and easy to play.
I thought I was going to have a lot of difficulty going back to using the dualshock but it’s been easy. I was able to throw out combos with Scorpion and link them into specials no problem.

I played a few versus matches with my brother and he really enjoyed it too.

Very excited about the full game.

Shit it wack son. I’ve been playing it all night. Game is nothing more than MK vs DC. It’s the fucking same game. Same engine, same characters, just with fatalities. Fuck all you guys who diss MK vs DC. That game was a 3D fighter, but it fought on a 2D plane.
