I just pick this up for Christmas. I have to finish the first game.

It’s absolutely necessary to do it that way. You experience in mass effect 2 is so much richer if you finish the 1st one. Speaking of which, I beat and have now begun getting all of my crew together for ME2. It’s insane how much better this sequel is compared to the first one.

ME was an alright game but ME2 is so much greater than the first. Looks better, plays better, better story better crew and so on.

It really hit me when I saw the Overlord DLC in action, it’s frightening how much better adapted Bioware has become to the 360’s hardware.

Can someone explain how the powers work? Like when your in a gun battle shit keeps popping up about my teams ability’s but I dont get it.

You’re trying to figure out what powers are good against or are you trying to figure out how to access them?

lol. good point. Kind of both. Like… ok …. when im in a gun battle I see that my squad members will use powers to like make one of them float etc. I ahve been running out of ammo at times during shootouts so I figure that I should be using powers as well as guns. Not sure how it works though. Like button wise etc. . :confused:

To pull up the powers you have hit the right bumper from there you can access your teammates powers as well as yours, your powers come up as ammo. Here I will break down what power or ammo to use:

Enemies with shields-Use a teammate with Overload you can also select Disruptor ammo for your weapons as it is good against shields if you don’t have a teammate with Overload.

Enemies with Armor-Use teammates Incinerate Power or Incendiary ammo for your guns, you also can recruit a teammate who has an Inferno grenade power

Enemies with Barrier-Use teammates that have Warp or use Warp Ammo for your guns

This is just a basic rundown of what you can use I can go more in depth just shoot me a message when you’re online and I can explain further.

EDIT:Yes you can combine your power with your teammates as well.

yo that shit helped alot. I just passed the part with the kregan… I must admit the game is growing on me. I see why people love it and its pretty damn good. Its funny when you pick a dialogue option and some crazy shit goes down. :lol:

Can’t remember but when you see all the galaxies if there is a mission in that galaxy it will show the mission’s name.
