Ricky Gervais is pretty much a comedy Icon here in the UK, but it really pisses me off when it’s our stars, particularly comediens who get picked to host these shows in the US, because the majority of you yanks do not get our sense of humour 99% of the time anyway so the good jokes pretty much go to waste (on you) and then we have to read about them getting slated by the foreign media for it.
