Just in time for the new Call of Duty World at War, Left 4 Dead, Gears of War 2 and Street Fighter HD we have
A NEW TOURNAMENT SYSTEM!

Logged in members can set up tournaments and challenge other players and all the win/loss stats are tracked.

You can also set up and join teams to compete in the tournaments or go solo.

Here is a Wipeout HD tournament I just set up.

Its super easy. At the top of the page click on “tournaments”

On the tournaments page you will see a list of open tournaments.

When you click on the individual tournaments …if there are open slots you can enter in one, see results etc.

OR

on the main tournaments page you can “create a tournament” … there you can enter how many open slots for the tourney and you can enter rules and usernames of people you want to add or invite.

After that the system will send messages to those people telling them about the tournament.

well yeah i understood that bit, i meant in regards to actually playing the game, how does it know i have done a race? (using wipeout as an example)

i don’t get it, do the two people that are paired against each other have a race on PSN or Xbox live? and the winner advances?

LOL. uhhh… yeah so ….using wipeout as an example. When I beat black attack tomorrow and I win I enter that win in the system by clicking the little arrow next to my name in the bracket… and in this example I win the tourney because its just one on one.

If it was a larger tourney the winners advance and the system tells you who you have to play against next. Its a basic bracket system like in any tournament.

ok, so if i was playing you in a wipeout tournament right…(not that that would ever happen, i hate wipeout, no beef lol) and say you won…what’s to stop me from going to the site before you and clicking on the arrow next to my name and saying i won?
