Ok. So i picked the game up for the 360 on Saturday morning, however i wasn’t able to play it until about 8pm because i had to go to work.
Anyway, the game is fantastic!!!!
Definately one of the best games i have played this year.
I had my doubts considering the mixed reviews it has been getting. However i do believe it was £40 well spent.
The combat system can take abit of getting used to but it is still fun.
It has been great just climbing all over the buildings and getting to the highest points just to look out over the land and admire what the creaters have done.
However the game is far from perfect.
When i first started hearing about this game, seeing the screenshots and demos for it, i thought it could easily be one of the greatest games of all time. But…… it isn’t, in my opinion anyway.
The story is quite shit. Believe me if you haven’t played the game yet and you want to find out what the big twist is, then it’s nothing special. Basically it’s all a memory. You are some bartender who gets taken away to some type of lab where tests are conducted to find out about your ancesters, which just happens to be the assassin Altair. I think i got that right. i’m not sure, it was abit confusing and i wasn’t really paying attention.
Anyway like i said, the story is wank.
Voice acting for the most part is good. Except for your character Altair. He just sounds too much like an untrained actor.
The game has actually caused my 360 to crash once already.
I have noticed quite alot of pop-in and screen tearing and the water effects could have been alot better (Water in Halo 3 was amazing).
Apart from those visual glitches the game does look stunning most of the time. Just climbing to the top of the highest buildings and looking out over the land really is breathtaking.
All in all, apart from the few visual glitches and the horrible storyline, the game is really really fun.
I would recommend it to everyone.
But like i said, the game is not perfect so don’t believe the hype. It really is one of those games that you have to play yourself and make a judgement about it instead of just listening to other peoples opinions.
I will give it 8/10This might not have been the most in-depth review ever but i’ve only had about 2 hours of gameplay. Not enough really to go into too much detail.

Well i’ve nearly completed all of the main missions now. Got one more to go, and i’m still loving it.
However the game is very very repetitive.

i think what’s cool about it is that you’re actually in the future or whatever and through a machine you somehow are able to like become your ancient ancestor who was an assassin. (i only played a bit of it when my friend brought it over, wasnt paying too much attention but thats what i got out of it) the fighting seemed confusing from what i played, but innovative. the graphics are the real highlight to the game, they’re amazing, best I’ve seen on the 360.
can anyone tell me if there’s any like skill tree, or if you can buy items / unlock new moves or anything, i played about an hour and it was getting kinda repetitive.
I’ve completed the main quest now, and unlocked the “Completed Assassins Creed” Achievement.
Has anyone noticed that when you play as Desmond in the future jus how badly he controls. It really pisses me off.
Anyway i’ve unlocked about 21 achievements so far. Gonna have to go back and play it so i can find all the flags that you haven’t to collect.Oh ye.
Does anyone know how to do a stealth assassination?
It’s easy to run in and kill aload of guards and i’ve tried to “Blend” in, creep up behind a guard and then kill him and i’ve done that about 100 times, but i still can’t unlock the achievement “Kill 50 guards by a stealth assassination”.
