so i copped it the other day, smackdown vs raw 2009

i’ve played it a bit, there’s some kool new stuff, the inferno match looks really nice visually, they got a whole hot red looking feel to it, and it kind of blurs everytime u do a big move which is kool, although the match itself is pretty lame and easy, it’s similar to the buried alive match, in which u jus beat on your opponent and drag him to the ropes, you throw him over the top rope lol, and he some how catches fire…but the dumb bit is that he is on the outside burning up, like all over his body, just burning the fuck up, not just a leg or an arm, but his whole body, it looked real stupid

i am liking the road to wrestlemania mode, that seems very good, it seems as though they created it for the popular superstars on the game, like undertaker, john cena, triple h etc it’s a nice touch instead of doing the career with them and having to do the exact same storylines, each of them get’s there own personalized storyline to do on the road to wrestlemania

so the whole theme of this year was the tag team wrestling on the game…my only issue with this, is that they seemed to focus on it a little too much, and forgot about other things, the little things add up, for example, you can’t break the glass in an elimination chamber match, the hell in a cell still sucks!, i was pinning opponents when they had only orange body damage, you can no longer go into the crowd in a hardcore match, A LOT of the moves still look exactly the same as they have for the past 3 years or so (they seem to only change finishers yearly, and not even all of them get changed every year)…i’m sure i’ll find many more when i continue playing the game

naw man, i hardly played last years smackdown, it actually felt good to get back into a wrestling game

although, i know talon will be pissed with it this year, as it does not feature the GM mode, kinda pissed me off too tbh

but hey it only has 18 achievements, all seem easily attainable
