I wasn’t reallyo a fan of the College Dropout. It had a really cliche theme to it. Samples out the would work. I know every song has a sample here or there, but it just wasn’t for me.

I’ve got myself this for christmas. Not heard 1 song of it yet. I’m not Kanyes biggest fan but every one I’ve heard talking about this has loved it.

So I’ve had a chance to listen to this now & I’m really enjoying it. It’s different to what I normally listen to. Being an English, suburban white kid, obviously I like to listen to that gangsta shit, lol, or something with a bit of lyrical complexity that you got to think about. This, despite not being my 1st choice of albums, you can hear that it is quality & I can understand why people rate it so highly.

I need to listen to the whole album more though. When I go back to work later in the week I’ll get a chance to give the whole album a good, consistant listen.
