Damn i’ve been waiting for the press conference all day.
I actually thought it was just another rumour when i read about it in the paper yesterday but he is apparently due to annouce a string of dates at Londons O2 arena. I’ve been watching Sky News all day and been following what has been going on.
The conference was due to start at 4pm (UK) but he is over an hour late.
I can’t wait for the announcement.
Obviously i won’t be going though because he will be charging a ridiculous amount of money per ticket, i’m thinking something in the £500 region just for the crappy seats up in the nose bleeds, and the best part of a grand for front row.
People been thinking he is going to announce about 60 dates but that is not going to happen at all.
I think 10 dates to start off with and then add more when the ticket slaes are coming in and to see the demand for them.
Prince was here last year at the same arena and played around 21 dates so i do think it is something MJ will try to emulate.
Anyway i’m here for the long run because i’m a huge MJ fan and i want to know what is happening.

So it wasn’t actually a Press conference but MJ has announced he will be performing some dates in London in July, and that these will be his last ever shows here.
Now i’m not sure if he means last ever shows completely, but as far as performing in UK this is his Curtain Call.
I suppose we will just have to wait and see what else happens.
Actual dates and ticket prices have not yet been announced.

Tickets go on sale a week tomorrow (Friday 13th March)
Prices range from £50 – £75.
So that is a fucking bargain.
Either Michael has finally got his head together and put up prices normal people can afford or he has released they need to be as cheap as possible because people won’t come otherwise.
Damn Madonna and Tina Turner were charging twice that amount.

Ye i got in the pre-sale but some a few money problems have come up at the moment so i might not even be able to go afterall.
I gotta wait til tomorrow for my brother to get paid and then we’ll see.
