Well considering I have found places now selling them and one place in particular for £89.99 then I will probably have one sooner than you think. Also, a friend of mine has got the game on PS3 and using the dualshock, so I don’t mind playing against him with the pad too. So not really a funny purchase.

Getting slightly irritated hearing people bitching and moaning about the game being too easy now because of the button setup. I mean have these people not realised that they can set it to normal mode instead of simple, or are these tournament players just scared now because there could potentially be a new wave of players coming in with this game that can pull off the kind of combos the top level players can.
I’ve not played the game and I don’t enter tournaments but it’s so annoying to hear and read this shit. Each review I have read has pretty much called it a button masher and the game drops points for it, but yet there is a deep enough system in there for the top level players to use, if they turn off simple mode.
I’m glad Capcom has made the game more accessible and if it means a casual fighting game player like me actually has a decent chance playing against someone like Talon who is hardcore and trains and all that shit, then i’m all for it.

oh and if you listened on the podcast I didn’t say the wired setup is £100, I said I don’t remember the exact price the person on the phone said but it was definately OVER £100. So if it’s a choice between spending all that to get new ports and shit setup in my room or buying a new stick and 2nd copy of the game then i’m going with the latter, because like I said, I can easily just run an ethernet cable to the router downstairs, no problem, I just need to find a longer cable then the 20m I already got which shouldn’t be too hard to find if I look in the right places, oh and the woman on the phone also stated that I would have to be paying more each month for the extra line rental, so that shit don’t make no sense.

Instead of spending the money on something permanent that will also increase the value of your house your about to spend the exact same amount (probably more) on a duplicate product and janky temporary solution. Value of my house? lol, it’s not my house and I have no plans on staying here after I graduate so I couldn’t give a fuck about that.
Janky temporary solution? Well i’m using a 20m cable now and i’m fine with that, so adding another 10m and not losing speed (like you said) so I can run it from upstairs to downstairs sounds like a good idea to me, coz then I can spend the money on a stick for PS3 and a PS3 copy of Marvel.
The rich men get richer? Well i’m not sure about you man but I wasn’t rich in the first place and I have no intention of wanting to get richer until after I graduate and get a job, that’s why until then I’mma do me and spend the money I do have on the things I want to buy
