This has got to be one of the most dissapointing things regarding games i have heard all year.
Knowing that Metal Gear and GTA IV won’t be coming out until next year, Assassins Creed was at the top of my “Must Buy” games list for this year.
According to Ign.com, the game just simply doesn’t live up to the hype.
The big twist in the story is apparently revealed 5 minutes into the game.
The voice acting is supposed to be horrible.
The are issues with framerate and pop in.
I’m not sure if i should this game when it’s released in the UK on Friday.

I would wait for other reviews. I’ve never trusted IGN. But still that is dissapointing if that’s true. I have been waiting for this one also. Got a 9 on Gamespot.

gamespot gave it a 9 tho, but i still dont like gamespot for their wack rating of rachet and clank (7.5) when it got an overall of 9.1 rating on metacritc which is the score combined from many know reviewers.

You can’t trust one source.

To have a 9 from Gamespot is high, because they’re usually VERY critical.

I’m not sure.
I always check the reviews out for ign and they seem to be on point alot of the time in my opinion.
Most of the games i have got for my 360 have been based on reviews from ign and there is not one that i think is shite.

Ratchet and Clank in my eyes doesnt deserve a 9 it deserves a 7 man… Cutscene is the same as the graphics but game play not feeling it. Also, Assassin Creed have some major problems before Ubisoft fix the game. I think the Sci Fi Twist messed it up

I will probably still buy on friday. Just for exploring the world will be alot of fun.
Also to unlock the achievements. My gamerscore is weak at the moment.

it says on here that my gamerscore is 3535, but i haven’t signed into xbox live for a while now coz i haven’t updated my subscription but i’ve got another 400 points on top of that. It’s still weak i know, but i’m working in it.
