OK so the PSP GO! has been released and it has recieved some very mixed reviews.
One of the biggest concerns for people is the price.
The cheapest i have found it here in the UK is £199.
I mentioned on the podcast that you could buy an Xbox 360 Elite for that amount.
Well the problem i have got is that Sony have got these incentives for people to pick one up.
First up is that if you buy one and register it within 10 days of the launch date you will recieve a free copy of Gran Turismo PSP. US owners get Rock Band Unplugged i think.

Also for people in the UK we get a reward scheme.
Basically if you already own a PSP sony will give you 3 FREE games if you upgrade to a PSP GO!
There are 17 games to choose from, these are.

So with them and Gran Turismo it is a saving of around £70.

Now, i don’t own a PSP but my cousin does so i could just sign in from his and reap these rewards.

With those free games it does seem like a pretty good deal.
I think the deal breaker for me is whether or not the GO! feels comfortable in my hands.
I have not seen one on the flesh yet, but when i go to the shop i’m going to see if they have a demo unit so that i can get a feel of it first.

Few things I prefer the ones with UMDs is
– its hackable
– if you dont hack it you can rent games
– buy used games
– price will be more in PSN store than retailer judging by what I saw
– Being able to get some money for crappy games

You ask for our opinion… we give you facts and logic and then you say fuck it and get it anyway. Then weeks or a month later you say I should have waited.. or whatever.

Case in point. Halo ODST. I told you rent it but you bought it and then said “FUCK, this game is short. I just finished it.”

Then there was the Standard Fight Stick that you got after I told you the Tournament edition was the best bet. You got the Standard then ended up buying the Tournament anyway. LOL.

So uhh Arthur and Szuter pretty much gave you the facts. Its pretty much a known rip off. The regular versions are MUCH better value. And you probly could get the older model and three times as many games for the price. Unless you are a gadget head (like me though im still not into rape lol) and you really have the bread to waste I say dont do it until the price drops which we all know it will.

But your going to get it anyway so to answer your question as someone who has used the PSPGO… played games on it and whatever… YES it feels better than the other versions but it did not feel good enough to mask the rape. Because yes its rape at the current prices. So as Kunda said “bite that pillow” as you drop your dough on the counter. LMAO!
