Alright you may have notice I haven’t been on the PS3 in a while.
Thats because I cant play.
Nothing wrong with the system it self but please read on cause I need help.

So when I first started playing I was using this device called High-Box Component to VGA Converter
and also used a Multi Console Cable as recommended by Brooklyn and things were great once I adjusted the settings on the High-Box. I knew it could make it look better but I held off. Few days later I decide to change the settings to make it better and thats were the problem comes in. I adjusted the setting to high for the monitor to display the picture and since than I keep getting this message on the monitor “out of range : 74.5 kHz 60 Hz”. I also cant bring up the menu of the High Box cause the display is out of range and cant alter it.

I also change the settings on the actual PS3 to a higher quality and now I cant even play on a standard TV. The screen is just black. So my main question is can I reset the settings some how to make the PS3 work on the standard TV without actually seeing the screen. ??

Anyone got any advice for me??

I been trying to contact the seller of the High Box but he seems like an asshole and hasnt responded to 2 of my emails. I send out the third one today.

I also got hooked up with a VGA PS3/Wii cable but I get a similar problem but this time the message reads like this “Out of range : 33.7 kHz 30 Hz”

Yeah I know I screwed up BIG time. Any advise would be great.

Honestly you cant fault the seller because its your fault. Unless the converter doesnt work (which it does) he’s has no obligation.

So what im saying is that you should actually do your own due diligence because in 2 seconds I searched on google on how to reset the ps3 video settings and found this: :p

Not trying to sound like an ass but sometimes I dont get why people spend all this time and energy asking others when if they searched they could find the answer themselves with that same energy and time.

For example this guy I know wrote me this long ass email with all these questions about surround sound. he wanted to hook his up because I told him about mine so he wrote a super long ass email. Funny thing was that if he just put those questions in google he would have got the answers himself. LOL

to reset your PS3 to default settings all you need to do is hold the power on button on the actual console until you hear a series of beeps. I know this because a while back when i came back from using my dads HD TV i just got a black screen when i went back to SD, and i thought my shit was fucked but then i sorted it.

Thanks a lot guys I really should of looked my self sorry so was frustarted cause I tried everything I could even think straight. Well I got it work on the SD def but cant seem to get it working on the monitor just yet and the shit looks terrible on that SD
