Marvel Ultimate Alliance

So I came home to see this game rented for me, so I put Madden 08 aside, and my recently bought but not played yet Resident Evil 4, and decided to try and beat it.

So the game plays like the X-Men Legends series, VERY if not exactly similar. Of course now though, you can use the Wiimote and Nunchuck to your advantage.

Now people say that the games controls are iffy, but I seem them far from it. You don’t even need to use the Wiimote’s movements if you don’t want to, just using A for the main attack. Then to avtivate your specials you just hold down the B trigger, scroll down the options with the control bad and select with A, very simple.

The story is very good though. Obviously fans of the mervel universe will most likely love this game. There is decent-to-good voice acting and almost always the voice actors caught the character spot on.

There are some loose ends here and there, but the twists and turns far out exceed the original X-Men Legends to make this game worth playing.

One major upgrade is the fact you can create your own squad.

NO, you can’t make your own super hero’s, this game would be the best if you could.

You simply pick a team of four, name the team and pick its Logo. Then when u hover an Icon over them you see your teams Icon.

When u earn reputation points with your team, you can spend them on plenty of team involds stats like vitality, force, power, and MANY, many more.

Most notably though is the team bench. Normally once u pick your team, it costs you your teams XP to switch out a chracter for a member of another squad. BUT with your team bench, you can have characters on your team that you can send out if something unfortunate happens to your team.

Wolverine
Ironman
Captain America
Deadpool

My bench {as much as i can remeber}

Blade {from the movies}
SiderWomen {The pimp version of Spiderman since she can also shoot plasma}
Dr. Strange {Best sorcerer in the world}
Thor {God of thunder}

And others I don’t really remeber.

This game is fun and I would DEFINETLY recommend a rent, buy is your choice.

If you want some input on the actual story I will tell u whatever u want.

I never said I didn’t know her, she has no relation to Spiderman whatso ever, but she was invented off of Spiderman, she is in all reality a clone of the Comic world, lol if Spiderman was never made you wouldn’t see her.

But in all reality I said the pimp version because she’s basically Spiderman with Plasma beams.

PS I beat the game.

Yes I admit had I go to rent a game I would not of picked it up due to the harsh remarks it got. It’s rough around the edges but well worth the play. Not to mention it wastes the LEAST battery power of ANY game I’ve played.

Yeah later into the game u get to make ur team n everything, so it gets funner, just if u play it on easy its not fun.
