Do they still sell the HD dvd players?

And if so, can I put blu-ray discs in them.

I want HD movies on my 360, is this possible? or do i have to just buy a seperate blu-ray disc player and plug it into the tv…

HD Players have finished. Microsoft have stopped doing them and so has everyone else as far as i know.
Blu-Ray has won the little war and no you can’t play Blu-Ray discs on a HD Player.

Thats right, you can’t play Blu-Ray on the 360 because its a whole different technology that the 360 has not got integrated into it.
The PS3 on the otherhand runs Blu-Rays and it’s alot better to buy a PS3 with a player built into it, instead of paying near enough the same amount for a stand alone player.

I think there was talk about them now trying to integrate Blu-Ray into the system but those rumours were soon over.

Theres HD movies you can download from the marketplace…

so maybe they could put out an update that will allow you to play blu-ray discs, or maybe just an update that will improve things for regular dvds, as blu-ray players i hear can also just make your already owned dvds look and sound better.

maybe they will have some surprise for this fall update. the netflix thing sounds exciting.

The 360 alone is not capable of playing Blu-Ray discs, so an update is not possible. If it was to happen then Microsoft would have to make a stand alone Blu-Ray player just like they did with the HD one.

Well there was a download I got on the internet that upped the HD capabilities of my 360 and allowed, was supposed to allow, the playing of HD movies but there are no HD movies any more
