Halo 3: Recon will be a first person shooter that will be released in the Fall of 2009 as a standalone release. In other words it will be sold in stores in disc form like most other games though there are hints that it may be cheaper than most new releases for Xbox 360. I guess it is because the Halo 3: Recon multiplayer experience will be almost identical to the current Halo 3 multiplayer experience.
