if you downgrade it you can get a program to emulate the latest firmware version, then it will be like you didnt even downgrade it…

BUT, you will be able to play any game AND run any homebrew

Hi everyone, my friend wants me to get an Xbox 360 so we can play halo together on Xbox live. But my question is can I just get the regular Xbox and get on Xbox live and play with my friend even though he’ll be on Xbox live from his Xbox 360? Please help me.

^ yes. if the game works on both systems you can do that. for example if you have “streetfighter anniversary collection” on the old xbox and I have it on the 360 we can both play over live because the game works on both systems. Make sure the game works on both and youll be aiight.
