Contrary to certain predictions made on our last podcast (not by yours truly), Call of Duty: World At War did NOT nominate Xbox live. Gears of War is the clear winner when it comes to unique users and Xbox Live activity for the week of November 10th. Gears of War 2 kicked ass and smashed competition. Lets see how long it rides the number 1 spot. Here are the numbers according to Xbox Live’s Major Nelson:

Hold the phone…before Brook puts words in my mouth. I never said that COD:WAW was dominating XBOX Live. Anyone who signed on to Live last week saw that everyone and their momma was on playing Gears. What I did say was I enjoy the COD multiplayer experience over Gears. Clearly everyone running through the Gears campaign together would put it in first. Lets keep tabs on weekly winners though…COD has longtail appeal and will win eventually….

LMFAO!! of course not….COD4 is still the better COD game…alot of people who play 4 arnt even getting WAW…Im still debating it, I may just rent the damn thing to beat the campaign and call it a day…lol
