oh my fucking goodness!!!!!
ok so i was on hold for 20 minutes with the customer support, until i finally get through
the lady is running me through things i can try to do, only to have me tell her i have already tried them, i was a little pissed off i won’t lie because after my new AV cable failed things weren’t looking up
so then she says:
“ok sir, what we can do is issue you with a repair of your console at a cost of £50, and we’ll send you a shipping pass (or something) and you need to arrange a date for us to come and collect your console”
i was like, “it will cost me £50 to get it repaired, i thought you covered consoles with a 3 year warranty”
this bitch said, “that’s only for the MORE POPULAR PROBLEM (her exact words!) of the 3 flashing red lights”
i’m like bloody hell, but for now i managed to withold being rude lol
so i say “ok, i guess i’ll make the payment now”, and she says:
“ok what card do you want to use”
i reply with “a solo card”
OMFG, THIS BITCH FINNA TELL ME, “we only take mastercard, visa and something else”
so then i just spoke rudely, i said “ok so your telling me i can’t use my solo card to pay for my xbox 360 console to be repaired”
she said “no”
so theeennnnn, i was fuming, i said “ok look, what do you suggest i do, you are customer support, suggest what actions i should take now”
this bitch stuttered, and came to me with this….
“MAYBE YOU COULD USE A FRIEND’S VISA OR MASTERCARD TO MAKE THE PAYMENT AND YOU COULD PAY HIM THE £59.99”
i know what you’re thinking, £59.99? earlier this bitch said £50, so i mentioned it, “sorry? £59.99, you said £50 before”
she had the nerve to come to me with “it is £50 for the repair and the VAT brings it to £59.99”
pissed!!!! i said “so hold on, i have to pay VAT on getting my console repaired”
she said “yes sir”
i didn’t know wtf to do, so i just said
“look , i’ll have to call back at a later date, i don’t know many 19-20 year olds who have a mastercard or a visa”
so i locked off the phone, and am now very angry!!!!
hardly any of you guys will read all of this, but trust me if you do read it, it’ll probably be mildly entertaining lol
i’m gonna have to pay £60 to get it repaired, you might say, just buy a whole new one for £130, but with the £60 repair they give me an extra one year warranty if anything happens
