Is there any game that you’ve come across that you get to a certain part where you literally fear it where you would try to have someone do a mission or something for you because you were too scared and tried to play it off like it was no big deal?
For example
In GTA: Vice City, one day my friends and I were goofing off as we kept jumping in the water and dying. Well it was on a new game so we had no money. So after enough times, the next time it was my turn and I ran to the ledge and there was this big ass shark floating on top of the water at the corner waiting for me. I’m not gonna lie. I paused the game and jumped back 20 ft. That shit probably still scares me to this day.

I think y’all get the idea. Anyone?

Resident Evil 3. Nemesis be breaking out of everywhere like this.

I do not want Trophies, Money or not even a title saying I am number "1". You can have your cheap trophies, paper titles, and dingy headbands. I am a "STORY" to my peers, a "LEGEND" for your kids to hear, and a "FOLKLORE" to keep you from dieing with fear - Calvin D. Kates aka Chauncy "TRU" Talon.

duke nukem startled me a couple min ago, playing the trial some guy disppeared so i went on the security cam, when i went off he reappeared in my face.

Nuke nukem forever?
When I was younger I got surprised on games like quake other than that unless it’s very well made i.e. Doom 3 it probably will have no effect on me fear wise.
01/26/2009 at 6:11 am #34136The only games that ever really scared me are the ones that use the environment well. Dead Space is probably the last one that scared me like that. The monsters in it aren’t really scary, but the way surround sound is used in that game is fantastic. The sound design of that game gave me a constant feeling of dread for the first third of the game.
