There will be three new downloadable content packs will be coming to Xbox 360 and PC versions in January that will add new quests, items, and content to Fallout 3. The official editor for Fallout 3, called the G.E.C.K. (Garden of Eden Creation Kit), will be available for free download in December and will allow PC users to create and add their own content to the game.

This is the rundown of the upcoming Xbox 360 and PC downlodable content:

• Operation: Anchorage. Enter a military simulation and fight in one of the greatest battles of the Fallout universe – the liberation of Anchorage, Alaska from its Chinese Communist invaders. An action-packed battle scheduled for release in January.
• The Pitt. Journey to the industrial raider town called The Pitt, located in the remains of Pittsburgh. Choose your side. Scheduled for release in February.
• Broken Steel. Join the ranks of the Brotherhood of Steel and rid the Capital Wasteland of the Enclave remnants once and for all. Continues the adventure past the main quest. Scheduled for release in March.

The main reason I’ve been holding out on purchasing this is because I figure they will probably put together a game of the year edition like they did with Oblivion that had two expansion packs…

I would rather pay 60 bucks and get a game and two expansion packs than pay 60 for just the game…

^ yeah that’s why I want to get a better PC…the modders changed shit with oblivion so much and made it so much better, and with the release of the modding tools for f3 i’m sure the same will happen…

— I will be getting Fallout 3 soon, hoping that they do make the game more playable after beating the main quest, thats all i’ve heard people really complaining about, so they should fix that

I still have not play this game, I do have it. I cut it on and have gotten to the point of what sex are you. I was done after that, Chrono Trigger is more important to me.

I do not want Trophies, Money or not even a title saying I am number "1". You can have your cheap trophies, paper titles, and dingy headbands. Not being to level up after 20.
Not being able to continue the game after you beat it,
When your in the downtown area of DC getting around in the subway is real confusing
Also in combat when your are using a gun to shoot people/animals and not using V.A.T.S it seems really odd to me and they could of worked on it more

All I can really think of right now might be back with more

Yeah I’ve been skeptical about this game..mostly becus of the VATS and how everyone says if you dont use VATS it can be much harder to kill enemies.

they are fixing the not being able to play after main quest right?

and im sure eventually they will release a way to pass lvl 20…i hope..

havent heard anything about the downtown DC being confusing, maybe just takes getting used to? is it really confusing or just a little (jw lol)

but usually I just use VATS to kill enemies so not using it is not a problem

Yeah but I’m wondering if that means it will make it so you can play EVERYTHING after the main quest, or if that just means you can do that brotherhood of steel quest line…

The 800 Microsoft point Operation Anchorage expansion (set for release in January) will let players fight the Chinese red army and liberate Anchorage via an in-game simulator. The simulation will also introduce new weapons, armor, a new “Covert Ops” perk and will add additional achievements. Jump over to IGN to get all the Operation Anchorage deets and preview the second (The Pitt) and third (Broken Steel) DLC releases. We can already hear the Fallout 3 loyalists’ celebrations echo through the streets.
